Junk Food

Junk food is a real big problem nowadays because of its power to damage our health. Everybody knows it is not a good type of food, however, a large number of people eat it. Now, I would like to introduce some junk food features: it contains a lot of artificial ingredients, it is low in nutrients and high in fat, it is low in fibre and a lot more…

Many people prefer it since they think it is much easier to cook it than another type of food such us a baked fish fillet, but should we allow junk food harm us only to save time? I think we shouldnÕt, there are a large variety of recipes which we can cook simple and fast types of meals, for example, we would take the same time cooking a little roast chicken and some vegetables, than if we bake a pizza.

On the other hand, when we go out to have lunch, there are a lot of people who prefer to go to a fast-food restaurant because of its prices. The common thing in these restaurants is to order junk food. However, my advice is to order a healthy meal even though you are in a fast-food restaurant. It will be better for your health and you will welcome it. Frequently you will find salads in these restaurants, which will remind you that it is the first step to look after yourself. However, it is better if you choose to go to another type of place to eat where food is not expensive and there is a long range of healthy meals which will benefit your health, like vegetables or fish. Since you don´t need to spend too much money if you go to normal restaurants or cafes.

Furthermore, if you want to begin looking after yourself, this is the moment. But you have to know that apart from following a healthy diet, you should go on a healthy life with good habits. I mean, for example, chew food slowly without hurry, it will help you to not have flatulencies, or drink at least 1´5 litres of water.

This is my last advice: Just eat healthy food!
